Ladies and Gentlemen,

we are looking forward very much to host the first Pre Developer Camp in Bremen/Germany! Some words about us: we are Enough Software, a company concerned with the development of mobile software and with providing tools for mobile developers such as the Open Source framework J2ME Polish.

Now, the Palm Pre is a pretty slick and exciting piece of technology and we are looking forward to work with it’s Mojo JavaScript framework. It not only simplifies mobile development, it pushes the door wide open for a whole class of developers who were previous not able to create mobile applications. So that’s cool. From the point of existing mobile developers the Pre adds another technology, another fragmentation layer to the game. So it will be interesting to see how to leverage existing applications for the Pre for this bunch.

wir freuen uns darauf, den ersten Pre Developer Camp 2009 in Bremen zu veranstalten! Einige Worte über uns: wir sind Enough Software, eine Firma die mobile Software und Tools für mobile Entwickler implementiert – wie beispielsweise das Open Source framework J2ME Polish.

Das Palm Pre begeistert nicht nur durch seine Hardware, auch die Entwicklung durch das Mojo Java Script Framework erscheint sehr vielversprechend. Dieses Framework erleichtert nicht nur die Entwicklung von mobiler Software, es öffnet auch eine Tür für Entwickler, die zuvor nicht in der Lage waren, mobile Software zu schreiben. Auf der anderen Seite bringt es einen neuen Technologie Stack für existierende Entwickler, das heisst wieder eine neue Technologie will erlernt werden und wieder nimmt die Fragmentierung zu. Für diese Entwickler-Schar wird es interessant werden, wie existierende Software auf das Palm Pre gebracht werden kann.
